As a student, Dr. Annau worked as a forklift driver, dishwasher (rather heavy, iron pots) in a commercial kitchen, detergent shoveler, construction worker, among other things.

He was a trained paramedic and assistant nurse in the Austrian Armed Forces
At the age of 19, he was already a music teacher, and at 21, he graduated from the Jazz Conservatory in Vienna and attended the master class for big band arrangement and jazz guitar at Berklee College of Music in Boston.
As a musician, he played with Georg Danzer, Wolfgang Ambros, Gary Lux, Vico Torriani, and others at the Musical Theater in Vienna, and he also performed twice with Chick Corea and Stanley Clark.
In 1981, he completed the master class for classical guitar at the Vienna Academy of Music and began a new life by earning his master's and doctorate degrees in law within 2.5 years and, one year later, starting his own tax consulting firm as a certified public accountant, which already had 16 employees after just two more years.
He served over 600 clients without a single liability case.
In addition to his tax consulting firm, he operated five recording studios and two video studios, composed a musical, and created the concept and half of the music for the exhibition “Kult und Magie” (Magic and the Occult) at Schwarzenau Castle (1990-1993), which featured a multimedia exhibition on the theme of “Religion from the beginning of time to the present” in 16 halls. 280,000 visitors saw this multimedia work of art in the heart of Europe.
As a lecturer and seminar leader, he was experienced by 50,000 seminar participants on 2 continents, 30,000 of whom attended day or week-long seminars.
Dr. Annau was a trainer for 9,000 financial service providers and an inspiration for 5,000 doctors and alternative practitioners. To this day, there are people who talk about these seminars.
His“incredible sales seminar” still exists after he sold it to his business partner in 1984.
There have been thousands of success stories. People who have experienced his seminars and his advice still call back within minutes when Dr. Annau calls, even after 25 years.

Between 1995 and 1997, he built up an environmental sales network in the US with over 125,000 sales partners and sold millions of Laundry Balls, hollow plastic balls filled with informed water that replaced laundry detergent. The product was so effective that there were virtually no complaints. Despite a money-back guarantee, only 0.002% of the laundry balls were returned. Detergent sales in the US fell by a few percent, and Dr. Annau did not have only friends...
From 1998 to 2001, he produced and sold (in 3,000 stores and chains such as Longs Drug Stores and Whole Foods, as well as on QVC) a biological odor remover. He attempted an IPO, but it failed due to the dot-com crisis in 2001.
Back in Austria, Dr. Annau worked at Hanse House. He created 3D plans and sold prefabricated houses to many satisfied customers.
In 2003, he returned to financial services and gave lectures on hedging in Forex at the Munich Stock Exchange. He advised investments in a Forex hedge fund, which, however, incurred a 5-15% loss for his clients due to the trading practices of the big players (stock exchanges, banks).
When Dr. Annau recognized the borderline legal machinations of the major brokers and stock exchanges, he advised all his clients to switch from forex to physical gold and silver. Those who followed his advice at the time not only lost NOTHING, but increased their money tenfold to twentyfold.
Based on this experience with derivatives, Dr. Annau withdrew from all financial products in 2003.

Even in 2022, his clients wrote him a few “angry letters” when silver and gold were manipulated down by the big banks.
But he always encouraged his clients to hold on to the physical metal, and they at least tripled their assets, many quintupled or decupled them, and some even increased them twentyfold.

He always pointed out when total loss was possible. Those who invested more out of personal greed had to bear the consequences themselves. That is why, as a licensed financial advisor, he never had a single liability case.
On August 22, 2016, Dr. Annau and his wife Sylvia founded a settlement in Caazapà, Paraguay, planned for up to 6,000 settlers on what was then almost 16 km2. Construction began in August 2017. To date, 356 people have invested in this project. That is 7.12 percent of his clients. His task was to acquire investors (through over 2,500 Skype interviews), advertise (with over 1,000 videos about the project), and support the settlers (up to 240) together with other settlers.
The settlement developed according to plan over the years. However, at the end of 2022, more and more evidence emerged that the management was allegedly infiltrated by a criminal organization. Some of the 356 customers publicly expressed their dissatisfaction, causing tens of millions of USD in damages. On October 17, 2023, Dr. Annau and his wife had to take over management and remove the alleged criminal organization.
In 23 months of management, they have recovered approximately 40% of the total damage of approximately $15 million, despite more than 10,000 defamatory statements and paid, defamatory reporting.

Did his customers make a profit in the housing project in Paraguay?
The first land buyers purchased their plots for only 1.2 euros/m2. Today (2026), there is no land available for less than 25 euros. His early customers have seen their money increase twentyfold. Even taking into account the costs of flood protection, many landowners have seen the value of their land increase by 50-250%.
The saleability of the land could be significantly increased from 2028 onwards by a planned new investment of at least USD 80 million in the project.
